The 2023 Friday Night Lights Tournament is limited to 8 teams and will be held Friday Night July 21st (disregard date if different on Registration form ).  The tournament is one night and starts at 6:30 and goes until completion (generally 11:00-11:30 pm).  Food and drink is provided.  Cost per team is $60 per team.  The Tournament Directors are Josh and Jen Baur.  Each team will consist of 6 players and must comply with the gender rules outlined in the Rules and Regulations (click on Rules and Regulations for details).  In this tournament each team plays against the other 7 teams in a two-game match.  Each game is to 15 and you can win by one point.  The tournament winning team is determined by wins and losses for the evening.  Should there be two or more teams that tie then the tiebreakers are as follows:

• If two teams tie, the tiebreaker will be the winner of the head-to -head match. If the two teams split their head to head match with each team winning one game then the team with the greatest differential in points won minus points lost will be the tournament champion.
• If three or more teams tie with the same record of wins and losses, the team with the greatest differential in points won minus points lost will be the tournament champion.

Teams in this Tournament will have experienced and skilled players.  Almost all volleys contain a bump, set and spike.
